Reliable High-Temperature Strength
N06601 achieves a tensile strength of 552 MPa and a yield strength of no less than 207 MPa in the solution-treated state. Standard heat treatment processes are used to control grain refinement, ensuring excellent pressure-bearing properties above 600°C, making it suitable for high-temperature stress applications.
Enhanced Oxidation Resistance
With a chromium content of up to 25% and alloying with 1.0% to 1.7% aluminum, a dense protective oxide film forms on the surface during heat treatment, making it suitable for heat treatment equipment and high-temperature furnace tubes.
Balanced Corrosion Resistance
With a stable nickel content of 58%-63%, combined with low carbon and sulfur content (C ≤ 0.10%, S ≤ 0.015%), it offers broad-spectrum corrosion resistance in acidic, neutral, and slightly alkaline media, making it suitable for conveying corrosive media in chemical and petrochemical systems.
Good Formability and Weldability
The material exhibits excellent formability in both cold-worked and heat-treated states. The silicon content is controlled below 0.5% to prevent thermal cracking. Furthermore, it can be welded crack-free using methods such as TIG and MIG welding, facilitating rapid on-site piping system connection and repair.
